Which files RecSimple converts to text
RecSimple converts audio files in MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, WMA, FLAC and AIFF format to text, for example a recording from a dictation device, a voice memo from your phone or a conversation you recorded with RecSimple. The original file stays unchanged; RecSimple places a copy in your recordings folder.
Every word leads back to the recording
Click a word in the text and RecSimple plays the recording from that point, with the highlight following along. This way you check an unclear passage without listening to the whole recording. You copy the checked text into your program or save it as a text file.
Transcription runs on your PC
Speech recognition works on your PC, in German and in English. RecSimple does not transmit your speech, recordings or texts. You need an internet connection for the first sign-in and the purchase; after that you can work offline for up to two weeks.
